History

JCS has its roots in helping investors overcome challenges and reduce risk. The company was established in 2004 and specializes in venture capital management, advisory services and foreign direct investment.

In 2006, JCS was appointed to manage the first venture capital fund established by the Ghanaian Government for SMEs. In 2009, JCS partnered with Goodwell West Africa Microfinance Development Company (GWAMDC). This venture aimed to secure equity investments in Rural Banks and Savings & Loans, supporting the microfinance sector in Ghana.

We operate with a small, close-knit team and have invested in a portfolio of companies that employ more than 800 people in rural areas and provide financial services to over 200,000 clients.
